Application Procedures

Since it's going to be a high time for you to start your application procedures and I find everybody being concerned with the university shortlisting. So I'll try taking up few universities every week and will give some insights so it can help you in preliminary shortlisting all by yourself !!

North Eastern University ( Boston, MA) Okay!! Why this one because this university is climbing upon the ladders in Global reputation and obviously Boston is such a great place to be in. NEU in it's past 5 years have improved it's ranking from TOP-500 in world to near 325. That's a great leap to make within this short bout. And maybe your career will do so over here. FOR AI/ ML enthusiasts NEU is amongst the TOP-20 schools right now working in this field.

Profile Requirements : There are 3 types of profile which can probably make into here, 1. 318+ , Low/Avg GPA, No/ Less Work Experience 2.312+, Good GPA, Less/ Mod Work Experience 3. 308+, Probably Good numbers in experience NOTE :This case is preferably for CS only. If you looking into subjects which are less competitive Maybe MIS or Industrial. You can reduce GRE criteria by 4-6 points in each case.

PROS : 2.The course structure is competent and rigorous. Haha not going to Be overnight studies for sure like here !! Plagiarism is a strict NO.1. The CO-OP arrangement of NEU is something where you can land yourself into some top companies for sure( They are pretty huge) and if done right you'll have more than one offer in hand. It's one of the most impressive arrangements Plus it's Boston. Do I need to elaborate ? ( Maybe I'll brag more it's among st top 10 cities where startups sprouts in US)3.Regarding faculties how do you think NEU made that leap in rankings. These guys graduated from top institutions like MIT and IVY's and are the reason obviously. The research output is very high here.

CONS: 1. It's Boston friends!! You know what I am about to say LIVING COSTS. But don't worry it'll be worth doing an MS from here so bear with it !! 2. Unfortunately Northwestern and NEU are not siblings. I know you are sad to hear this.But NEU is definitely a family of 5 campuses so go and have a look. I ain't gonna tell you everything.
