Scholarships in Texas, USA | Dean's International Excellence Scholarship

the Dean's Excellence grant is given to new JSOM graduate students who have excelled academically. Scholarship award: $1,000 (one-time) tuition credit.

In simple words, it is a merit-based scholarship for current or returning undergraduate and graduate students. The scholarship is intended to recognize academic excellence among University College students. The DS can be combined with other University College scholarships.

List Of Requirements To Be Followed:

  1. Applicants may be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or foreign students.

  2. JSOM graduate students cannot apply.

  3. The GMAT or GRE, TOEFL or IELTS score and undergraduate cumulative GPA are required.

  4. Instead of accepting unofficial scores (such GMAT and GRE) for admission, the JSOM Graduate Scholarship Office requires all new students to submit official results (including GMAT and GRE) to UT Dallas. New student scholarship applications will not be accepted unless UT Dallas receives official scores online and processes them before the deadline.

  5. To be considered, new JSOM students must be admitted before the scholarship application deadline.

  6. Experience counts.

  • UT Dallas evaluates applications after making an admission offer.

  • Applicants must enroll in at least 5 semester credit hours every semester, excluding internship and degree completion semesters.

  • Scholarships are awarded periodically. If you've been accepted into one of our programs and haven't heard back from us, your application is probably not competitive. Improve your admissions application's criteria/factors to improve your competitiveness. In general, candidates may only increase their GMAT/GRE scores while waiting for scholarship decisions.

  • If you elect to retake the GMAT/GRE, you must send your updated official score to UT Dallas before the scholarship application deadline. Please note that submitting a revised score DOES NOT guarantee a scholarship.
